Green Glo blazes have been made along this section at the intersections. 

VA 678 is blazed from Cowpasture River to the turnoff point for the Shenandoah Mountain Trail (Section 6c). 
Blazes mark the intersections of VA 678 & VA 624, and VA 624 & 625, some blazes mark each side at Westminster Chapel, at the trailhead of Tower Hill Mountain Trail, and the intersection of VA 625 & VA 609.  Also there are blazes on VA 609 marking the intersection with FDR 1325, but none on FDR 1325.
