Brown Mountain Photography
Photography by Tim Hupp
This is named for the Brown Mountain in the southern section of the Shenandoah National Park. I live at the base of Brown Mountain and I am the PATC volunteer overseer of the Brown Mountain Trail, a 5.3 mile trail leading from the Skyline Drive to the Big Run Portal.

. Right now, I'm trying to upload more pictures, so they aren't available for electronic purchase until I get an order. Request it, and I'll upload the file for purchase. Also, I can provide prints of the pictures on request as well.
My computer processing techniques:
Building adjustment - When you take a picture looking up at a building, the resulting picture makes it look like it narrows as it rises, or is leaning away from you. This effect can be cancelled in processing:

Harris Shutter Effect
This method takes three pictures of something moving, filters each of them different complementary colors, and recombines them so that stationary things look normal, but moving things are a swirl of colors:

It works best when what is moving is white against a darker background.
